WHO WE ARE
HerScan Foundation is a non‑governmental organization dedicated to raising awareness about fibroadenoma and other benign breast conditions. We exist because every lump matters – even when it is not cancerous. Our goal is to empower women with accurate knowledge, encourage early detection, and offer emotional support to those navigating benign breast health issues. We believe that no woman should feel alone or frightened simply because she has a non‑cancerous lump.
Help the Childrens
While HerScan Foundation primarily focuses on adult women, helping mothers and caregivers directly benefits their children. A woman who understands her breast health and receives timely support for a benign lump can parent with less fear and distraction. In the future, we also plan to create age‑appropriate educational content for teenage girls – teaching them that breast changes are normal, reducing stigma, and encouraging healthy habits early
WHAT WE DO
Awareness Campaigns
We run community and online campaigns to educate women about fibroadenoma, how to recognise lumps, and why most breast lumps are benign but still need attention.
Screening Support
We help women access affordable or subsidised breast screening (ultrasound, clinical exams) so that lumps can be identified and evaluated early.
Emotional & Peer SupportÂ
We offer one‑on‑one and group support for women diagnosed with fibroadenoma, helping them manage anxiety and connect with others who have similar experiences.
Medical Navigation Assistance
 We guide women through the process of seeing a doctor, getting a second opinion, and understanding their diagnosis reports.
Public Advocacy
We work to ensure that benign breast conditions are included in national breast health conversations, influencing better information and care pathways.
Educational Resources
We produce easy‑to‑read materials (flyers, videos, social media posts) explaining fibroadenoma symptoms, treatment options, and follow‑up care..
